Shipping Guidelines

Each and every one of our furniture pieces is handcrafted by artisans and producers around India. As these items are not mass manufactured and made with natural materials and techniques, please bear with us if you experience any delays or challenges in the production or delivery of your order.

Our commitment is to deliver your new furniture to you after it is lovingly finished, undergoes stringent quality checks and is safely packaged and transported to your door. We endeavour to be in touch with you throughout the process and work with you on any challenges. Your new furniture is the product of many hearts and hands working together from the raw material supplier to the carpenter who will help to assemble your item at home.

So do bear with us through any hiccups, and do read through the below details to know what you can expect with this new addition to your home. Accessories shown in the photograph are meant for representation purposes only, and are not part of the actual product. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike. Please check the dimensions of your entrance/door to your premise before buying, so that there is no problem in getting the product inside at the time of delivery. In such a situation, we will not be able to accept return or cancellation requests.

 

SHIPPING/DOORSTEP SERVICE DELIVERY & DELIVERY TIME

The ordered products shall be delivered to customers as per the below conditions.

  • CasaGold ships through trusted delivery partners.
  • We ship our products to most areas within India.
  • CasaGold insures each product during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you.
  • We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.
  • All orders require a signature upon receipt.
  • We also ship internationally, Shipping costs will be additional and vary depending on the purchased product, as well as the method and location of delivery. You can email us on contactus@casagold.in for international delivery with the selected product, address and zip code
  • Ready products are typically dispatched within 24-48 hours of order confirmation. Delivery timelines for furniture items can be up to 2-4 weeks as many of our designs are made-to-order and handmade by master craftsmen. If the item is in stock, we aim to ship in 24-48 hours of order confirmation.
  • All the products are transported and delivered using transport services.
  • While we try to ensure that the product reaches you within the delivery time communicated, exigencies may delay the delivery. In such cases, please do not worry. Get in touch with us for the latest update on your shipment if we have already not gotten in touch with you.
  • For made to order pieces, the estimated delivery time is 2-4 weeks starting from the day of order specs confirmation.
  • For Residences / Offices situated on Ground Floor, Products would be handed over to Doorstep.
  • For Multi-level buildings, Products would be placed in a secure lobby area after informing the Security desk.
  • Arrangement of manpower to carry the furniture inside any space would be at customer’s sole responsibility.

 

Returns and Cancellations

Cancellation Policy

Order booked once, cannot be cancelled, unless cancelled within, One (1) hour of receipt of an order. No cancellations beyond the stipulated period of One hour shall be allowed. No amount shall be refunded. In such cases, if One Hour have elapsed from the date of the Order of Booking; full amount paid by the Customer will be deemed forfeited.

 

Payments Terms

Online Payments:

For all orders, 100% payment is required before the delivery of the goods.
We offer secure online payment options to facilitate a seamless transaction experience.

Cash on Delivery (COD) Shipments:

COD is available for select shipments where the courier partner will collect the payment at the time of delivery.
Please note that COD is not applicable for furniture items due to their nature and logistical considerations.

 

    Return Policy

    At CasaGold products are manufactured using good quality materials. We carefully inspect each item prior to shipment. Our products are manufactured using high quality materials. Defects and variance in product must be brought to our attention within 24-48 hours of delivery. Issues not presented within 24-48 hours of delivery will not be considered and cannot be returned or exchanged. Most of our furniture is customised as per customer’s specifications. Custom made orders begin taken to production immediately upon order and cannot be cancelled, changed, returned or refunded at any time.

    • You can return other Item within 24-48 hours of the item being delivered to you. Return requests are not accepted after 24-48 hours from the date of delivery.

    We accept returns only in case of

    • Difference: In case the item delivered to you is different from the original item ordered( wrong SKU).
    • Damaged: In an unlikely event that any product ordered is not received in good condition and is damaged beyond repair.
    • After opening the package if the goods are also found in damaged condition then you need to inform us/email the picture of the damaged product to us within 24-48 hours of receipt of the goods with order reference number at:-  contactus@casagold.in. Please take detailed pictures of the damage or issue so we can attend to it appropriately.
    • In rare cases furniture may get damaged in transport or reach you with some other quality issue. CasaGold will arrange for repair or touch-up of any items in such case at your location at our expense, we shall evaluate the extent of damage and let you know if this can be easily fixed locally (minor/moderate damages) and shall send the required material and also bear the reasonable local carpenter cost Or, this needs to be replaced/returned by us (major damages).
    • Please save the packing material with you until we reach to an outcome, as you have to take care for the repacking of goods in case of replacement by us.
    • Returning of the product is not allowed in case of made to order pieces.
    • For all products kept on the floor, ensure that the product stands steady and straight. In case there is an uneven leg (less than 5 mm difference), then our team will install bushes at the foot of that leg to balance the product better; in case the uneven leg is more than 5 mm, then we will take the item back to provide a replacement (or a repair) based on extent of change needed.
    • Products are sold on a non-return basis and unless damaged, different or incorrectly delivered cannot be returned (# refer to Delivery & unboxing /Eligibility of Return ).
    • All returns must receive prior approval of the Company.
    • Goods must be returned according to the Company’s procedure for return or replacement.

    REFUND POLICY

    If you are eligible for any refund, the same shall be given to you as per the following guidelines:

    • All refunds & replacement process initiation shall be subject to pick up of all cancelled items from your/customer's premises.
    • Post receiving the products back to the warehouse, a refund shall be initiated within 7-8 days.
    • Refund will be initiated via NEFT, cash or by the way payment was originally made.
    • Depending on the orders, the processing charges might be deducted.

     

    DELIVERY & UNBOXING

    • What should I check when the product is delivered to me? Depending on your location, your order may be delivered to you by the CasaGold team/third party courier company/transport services (for Bulky Pieces). You will receive a call and/or SMS prior to delivery to coordinate. We request you to be flexible with delivery windows and avoid re-scheduling as this can lead to unexpected delays in your delivery, and returned shipments. 
    • Please note our delivery partners are not equipped to carry parcels up many flights of stairs or un-package furniture. Please ensure adequate access to service elevator or we request you hire additional labor to assist with lifting. Parcels that do not fit in your entryway or service lift will be your responsibility.
    • Some shipped items may be crate packed or require assembly. Depending on your location we may arrange a separate service provider to unbox and assemble your purchase if required.
    • Open delivery is not provided so kindly check the packaging thoroughly and if you find the packing in torn condition then please make a remark on the receipt before accepting the damaged packing such as ‘Goods received with damaged packing’.

     

    PRODUCT WARRANTY

    Our products have a limited warranty based depending on the category of product. Our warranty covers only manufacturing defects that emerges during the warranty period, but does not include any damages due to ordinary wear and tear or mis-handling or mis-use of the product. It also does not cover damage due to theft, accidental damage, or external act or act of God (e.g. floods, natural disasters, etc). Our warranty period is 6 months from purchase date for all items.
